What is Azeroth Survivors?

Azeroth Survivors is Aethus’s Warcraft-inspired fan game. Choose a class, survive enemy waves and develop a set of spells during each run. Familiar names such as Priest, Hunter and Mage lead to different ways of dealing damage, recovering health and controlling space.

A useful build connects those choices. Permanent talents can change your starting spell or add a trigger, while items support the part of the plan that needs help. This guide connects the class, spell, talent and equipment references so you can decide what to try next.

From the first run to the next unlock

  1. Start with an available class and zone

Learn the attacks and movement you have now. Use the unlock guide when the next class or destination is still unavailable.

    Classes, zones & Heroic access
  2. Build around the choices you actually receive

Improve a working damage source, then add recovery or coverage. Each route includes alternatives when its preferred spell is missing.

    Compare the build routes
  3. Use the result to change your next attempt

Separate in-run upgrades from permanent talent points and equipment. Change one weak part of the plan before comparing attempts.

Start with the route’s supported skills, check when its key talent arrives and keep an alternative ready. These priorities do not replace the complete class spellbook.

Class tier list

Priest: Pain and apparitions

Full point plan

Develop the Shadow milestones in order, then use Discipline reduction, shield strength and cooldown recovery to support the completed Pain engine.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Shadow Word: Pain

Duration, Shadow Power, Apparitions and Shadowform all support this ongoing-damage core.

    Alternative: Smite
  2. Mind Blast

Its direct hit complements Pain, and the route includes both ordinary cooldown support and the separate Apparitions free-cast trigger.

    Alternative: Mind Flay
  3. Power Word: Shield

The secondary allocation explicitly strengthens its absorb to preserve room for Pain to tick.

    Alternative: Renew
  4. Devouring Plague

A second Shadow DoT can use Shadow Power and add damage-dependent recovery.

    Alternative: Psychic Scream

When the route comes together

Shadowy Apparitions changes the opening to Shadow Word: Pain at permanent point 21. Shadowform spreading and death bursts arrive at point 31; neither is assumed for a fresh character.

Watch the trade-off

Kill healing and death spread have less fuel against a durable target with no adds.

All 11 Priest spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Open Priest spellbook

Shaman: Chain Lightning circuit

Full point plan

Build Lightning Overload into Elemental Fury and Elemental Mastery, then support Lightning Bolt and defense through Enhancement.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Chain Lightning

Overload can repeat it, Elemental Fury adds jumps without damage loss, and the capstone supplies a recurring cast.

    Alternative: Lightning Bolt
  2. Lightning Bolt

The secondary Windfury and Improved Lightning Bolt talents give this spell a distinct supporting role.

    Alternative: Earth Shock
  3. Frost Shock

A slowing attack gives room to keep the lightning plan operating and is also named by Windfury.

    Alternative: Healing Wave
  4. Lightning Shield

Use its retaliation only as an optional close-contact damage supplement.

    Alternative: Healing Wave

When the route comes together

Elemental Mastery supplies the Chain Lightning opening only at point 31. Earlier prefixes do not assume that opening or its automatic extra cast.

Watch the trade-off

Overload and Windfury are conditional repetitions, while the Elemental Mastery cast is a separate periodic effect.

All 11 Shaman spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Rogue: Backstab splash

Full point plan

Use Subtlety movement, Cheat Death and recurring Gouge to reach Shadow Dance, then add poison and Eviscerate support from Assassination.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Backstab

Opportunity and Shadow Dance support its low-health strike and nearby splash.

    Alternative: Sinister Strike
  2. Eviscerate

It shares Shadow Dance splash, gains Improved Eviscerate and supplies a second wounded-target finisher.

    Alternative: Blade Flurry
  3. Gouge

Preparation supplies recurring casts and Dirty Deeds rewards damage against controlled enemies.

    Alternative: Kidney Shot
  4. Ghostly Strike

Its hit-generated absorb offers a defensive option for a route that still needs melee range.

    Alternative: Slice and Dice

When the route comes together

Shadow Dance changes the opener to Backstab only at permanent point 31. Earlier prefixes use the available starter and treat offered Backstab cards as optional.

Watch the trade-off

Cheat Death is a limited recovery trigger, not permission to remain in contact; both main finishers still require melee range.

All 11 Rogue spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Hunter: Arrow coverage

Full point plan

Develop Auto Shot piercing, Multi-Shot coverage and Volley damage, then use Kill Shot for a defined Aimed Shot opening and finishing role.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Multi-Shot

Improved Multi-Shot adds targets and Barrage improves its damage, making it the first coverage pick to look for.

    Alternative: Auto Shot
  2. Auto Shot

Piercing Shots provides a concrete second-target interaction and ordinary shots contribute to Rapid Fire.

    Alternative: Aimed Shot
  3. Volley

Barrage supports the placed Arcane area against enemies that remain in it.

    Alternative: Concussive Shot
  4. Aimed Shot

Kill Shot supplies the opening and a reset on qualifying kills, while Hawk Eye supports durable targets.

    Alternative: Hunter's Mark

When the route comes together

Aimed Shot becomes the opening spell at point 31. The late Beast Mastery wolf arrives at point 42; the first 40 points do not assume a permanent pet.

Watch the trade-off

Aimed Shot resets need killing blows and have a limit; they are not a permanent reset loop on a solitary boss.

Warlock: Corruption chain

Full point plan

Use Nightfall and Contagion to connect Shadow Bolt with Corruption, reach Seed of Corruption, then add a small bolt-and-companion support package.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Corruption

Nightfall supplies the bolt link, Contagion transfers the effect after a death and Seed adds a separate death burst.

    Alternative: Shadow Bolt
  2. Curse of Agony

Its damage and ordinary cooldown are supported, and Contagion names it explicitly.

    Alternative: Drain Life
  3. Shadow Bolt

Improved Shadow Bolt and Shadow Cleave support the direct spell that Nightfall can trigger for free.

    Alternative: Death Coil
  4. Drain Life

The early Affliction investment improves its damage and gives a recovery option while DoTs work.

    Alternative: Immolate

When the route comes together

Seed of Corruption gives the Corruption opening at point 31. Before then, Corruption and Curse of Agony are draft priorities rather than guaranteed opening spells.

Watch the trade-off

Spread and death bursts depend on kills; the plan has no measured superiority over direct-damage or demon routes.

Other Warlock routes: Imp, Felhunter and Pit Lord

All 12 Warlock spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Mage: Frostbolt and control

Full point plan

Establish Frostbite and Splitting Ice before the Water Elemental capstone, then use Arcane recovery and Clearcasting as a secondary layer.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Frostbolt

Its slow, shorter cooldown and Splitting Ice splash make it the central attack once available.

    Alternative: Fireball
  2. Blizzard

The placed Frost area supplies repeated slowing hits and benefits from Arctic Reach.

    Alternative: Cone of Cold
  3. Ice Barrier

Improved Ice Barrier explicitly supports this finite absorb.

    Alternative: Frost Nova
  4. Frost Nova

Its nearby root supports controlled-target damage and complements the capstone's periodic free cast.

    Alternative: Arcane Explosion

When the route comes together

Summon Water Elemental changes the opening to Frostbolt at permanent point 31. Before that, Frostbolt must actually be available; the route does not assume a capstone pet at low budgets.

Watch the trade-off

Blizzard remains where it is placed, and a front-facing Cone of Cold does not cover enemies behind you.

Other Mage routes: Ignite into Pyroblast

All 13 Mage spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Open Mage spellbook

Paladin: Holy Shock chains

Full point plan

Secure Holy Shock at Divine Favor, shorten its recovery and build the critical-strike link to Daybreak before adding a recurring Holy Wrath.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Holy Shock

Divine Favor supplies leaps and Daybreak converts its critical strikes into free Holy Wraths.

    Alternative: Judgement
  2. Holy Wrath

Its area benefits from Purifying Power and complements both Daybreak and Light's Grace triggers.

    Alternative: Consecration
  3. Consecration

Purifying Power improves its reach, but it remains a placed effect rather than an aura that follows you.

    Alternative: Exorcism
  4. Holy Light

The single Healing Light rank supports a recovery option if gradual chip damage is ending attempts.

    Alternative: Divine Shield

When the route comes together

Divine Favor grants the Holy Shock opening at permanent point 11, not on a fresh zero-point character. The selected secondary talents do not add a competing starting-spell milestone.

Watch the trade-off

Light's Grace adds a periodic Holy Wrath; it does not remove the need to reach enemies safely with the surrounding burst.

All 11 Paladin spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Open Paladin spellbook

Warrior: Whirlwind engine

Full point plan

Build Rampage into Flurry and Bladestorm, then support the recurring close-range hits with Deep Wounds and Arms cooldown recovery.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Whirlwind

The plan invests in its reach, repeated hit and damage; once Bladestorm is selected it also becomes the starting spell.

    Alternative: Cleave
  2. Bloodthirst

Flurry and Death Wish also support Bloodthirst, and its damage-based healing gives a second reason to keep close targets in reach.

    Alternative: Execute
  3. Battle Shout

Bloodlust strengthens its damage buff and the early cooldown point helps it return.

    Alternative: Demoralizing Shout
  4. Execute

Its below-30%-health hit supplies a finisher when kills slow down; this plan does not include Sweeping Strikes.

When the route comes together

Bladestorm is selected at permanent point 31. Before then, Whirlwind is not a promised starting spell; Rampage first supplies kill-triggered free spins at point 11.

Watch the trade-off

Whirlwind and Bloodthirst need nearby targets. Recurring casts do not make standing inside a pack safe.

All 11 Warrior spells

These include skills outside the recommended route. Read their effects before replacing a supported spell.

Open Warrior spellbook

Druid: Moonfire and treants

Full point plan

Build Omen of Clarity and Starfall into a Moonfire-and-treants opening, then add Restoration cooldown recovery and Swiftmend.

Recommended skill priorities

  1. Moonfire

Improved Moonfire and Moonfury support its Arcane DoT, and Force of Nature makes it the full-plan opening.

    Alternative: Wrath
  2. Starfire

Omen and Starfall add separate free casts, while Improved Starfire supports ordinary cooldowns.

    Alternative: Hurricane
  3. Rejuvenation

The Restoration support improves its healing as a recovery option alongside Balance damage.

    Alternative: Regrowth
  4. Insect Swarm

Its DoT and weakening effect offer a Nature option when incoming damage from affected enemies is the obstacle.

    Alternative: Entangling Roots

When the route comes together

Force of Nature supplies Moonfire as the opening spell and two treants at point 31. Earlier prefixes support the ordinary Wrath opening and offered Balance spells; they do not assume treants.

Watch the trade-off

Moonfire needs time to tick; Starfall is a separate recurring Starfire, not an effect that makes every Moonfire tick cast it.

Which class should I choose?

Our S/A/B tier list rates the overall strength of nine solo builds at 31 permanent talent points, weighing pack clearing, durable targets, recovery and how reliably the route starts. Classes within a tier are not ordered. These are editorial judgments from verified mechanics, not measured DPS or clear rates; follow each linked point plan and its trade-offs.

Class tier list & recommendations →
Why does a build recommend only some of a class’s spells?

A route prioritizes spells that its talents support; it is not the class’s full spell list. Each class panel includes the whole spellbook, and the Builds directory separates recommended priorities from all available reference entries. Priorities are choices to look for, not a guaranteed cast sequence.

Browse the complete spellbook →
Are talent points the same as levels inside a run?

No. The 10, 20, 30, 40 and 51-point checkpoints describe permanent talent allocations. Use the budget you actually own in the planner. A later talent may change your starting spell, so a completed route should not be treated as a fresh character’s opener.

Open the talent planner →
How should I choose items for a build?

Match the effect to the problem: cooldowns for long gaps between attacks, damage-over-time support for ticking spells, or recovery when incoming damage is ending attempts. The armory separates these item effects from permanent equipment and its star progression.

Items, equipment & set bonuses →
What should I do if the game will not load?

Start with the symptom. A graphics initialization error, unavailable server and failed archive extraction have different causes. Check the original game address and browser graphics support before reinstalling or changing stored progress.

Work through launch problems →
Can I move my progress to another browser or device?

Use the game’s Options → Saves → Export Save and keep that file separately. Export any progress at the destination before importing, because importing replaces progress rather than merging it. Keep the original backup until you have checked the restored game.
