A plan you can follow.
Use the point order below between runs, then use the skill priorities inside a run. Choose the checkpoint that matches your available talent points.
These are permanent talent points spent between runs, not levels reached inside a run.
No specific equipment, gear-star level, race bonus or teammate is assumed. Upgrade priorities depend on the cards actually offered.
Arrow coverage
Multi-target shots with an Aimed Shot finisher
Develop Auto Shot piercing, Multi-Shot coverage and Volley damage, then use Kill Shot for a defined Aimed Shot opening and finishing role.
Beast Mastery 20 Marksmanship 31 Survival 0
Point order, skills & alternatives
Before using this plan
- Aimed Shot becomes the opening spell at point 31. The late Beast Mastery wolf arrives at point 42; the first 40 points do not assume a permanent pet.

Why these points come first
- Points 1–5: Build critical chance for direct shots.
- Points 6–10: Improve general recovery without committing early points to a different damage spell.
- Points 11: Let Auto Shot reach an enemy behind its first target.
- Points 12–15: Increase critical damage while opening Multi-Shot coverage.
- Points 16–17: Give Multi-Shot two additional targets.
- Points 18–20: Add general damage and open the next milestone.
- Points 21: Add the every-sixth-shot free Aimed Shot.
- Points 22–24: Support Multi-Shot and Volley with their named damage bonus.
- Points 25: Add general damage and finish the next gate.
- Points 26–28: Support elites and bosses that do not disappear in the first volley.
- Points 29–30: Shorten Aimed Shot and Concussive Shot recovery before the capstone.
- Points 31: At 31 permanent points, start with Aimed Shot and enable its limited killing-blow reset.
- Points 32–36: Add general cooldown recovery to the completed shot engine.
- Points 37–38: Create more room to keep ranged attacks operating.
- Points 39–41: Add reduction while reaching the companion row.
- Points 42: At point 42, add a wolf without changing the earlier plan into a pet-trigger route.
- Points 43–46: Give the newly acquired wolf a meaningful damage investment.
- Points 47–51: Finish with critical chance that explicitly applies to both you and your pet.
Skills to look for
Use this priority when the relevant choice is offered. A route does not guarantee a particular card.
- Multi-Shot
Improved Multi-Shot adds targets and Barrage improves its damage, making it the first coverage pick to look for.
If it is missing: Auto Shot — Use its Piercing Shots interaction while waiting for Multi-Shot.
- Auto Shot
Piercing Shots provides a concrete second-target interaction and ordinary shots contribute to Rapid Fire.
If it is missing: Aimed Shot — With the capstone selected, keep the actual Aimed Shot starter functional instead of waiting for Auto Shot upgrades.
- Volley
Barrage supports the placed Arcane area against enemies that remain in it.
If it is missing: Concussive Shot — Use the slowing shot to make space when placed-area coverage is unavailable.
- Aimed Shot
Kill Shot supplies the opening and a reset on qualifying kills, while Hawk Eye supports durable targets.
If it is missing: Hunter's Mark — A mark supports damage on a tough target, but its death explosion still needs that target to die.
Inside the run
- First card choices
- Improve the current starter and take a supported coverage spell when offered. At a full allocation, the starter is Aimed Shot rather than the no-capstone opening.
- Coverage established
- Compare Multi-Shot targets and damage with Volley coverage. Keep moving so grouped enemies spend time inside the placed area.
- Isolated durable target
- Use Hawk Eye and ordinary Aimed Shot casts without assuming kill resets. Keep a safe route when the crowd that supplied resets is gone.
Change one thing
- Multi-Shot is absent
- Continue with Auto Shot piercing and an available area or slowing choice; the route remains conditional on the card draft.
- Enemies leave Volley immediately
- Favor direct shots and Concussive Shot until you can maintain a useful group through the placed area.
- You want pet-triggered Multi-Shots
- Use the separate pet plan. This allocation stops at 20 Beast Mastery and cannot select Frenzy.
- The finished split is 31 Marksmanship and 20 Beast Mastery. Its wolf adds a companion, but this is not the Frenzy pet-trigger build.
- Aimed Shot resets need killing blows and have a limit; they are not a permanent reset loop on a solitary boss.
The point order follows the checked 0.125.0 client requirements. Spell priorities and gameplay suggestions are editorial and have not been combat-tested. A legal allocation does not establish the strongest build or a proven clear rate.
Pets into Multi-Shot
Wolf and raptor bites trigger ranged coverage
Reach Tame Beast, Frenzy and Bestial Wrath in order, then improve the direct shots that accompany the pet engine.

Point order, skills & alternatives
Before using this plan
- This route does not change the starting spell through Kill Shot. Tame Beast arrives at point 11, Frenzy at point 21 and the second pet at point 31.
- The plan relies only on the listed talent companions; it does not require the separate White Devilsaur option or assume every player attack modifier also affects pets.

Why these points come first
- Points 1–5: Start with ordinary cooldown recovery before any pet milestone.
- Points 6–7: Make room for ranged attacks and later companions.
- Points 8–10: Add reduction and open Tame Beast.
- Points 11: At point 11, acquire the wolf that defines the first active pet stage.
- Points 12–15: Improve the pet that is now actually present.
- Points 16–20: Add critical chance explicitly shared by the hunter and pets.
- Points 21: At point 21, connect pet bites to chance-based free Multi-Shots.
- Points 22–24: Increase pet damage after the bite-trigger interaction exists.
- Points 25: Complete the earlier pet damage investment.
- Points 26–28: Support Auto Shot and the Multi-Shot triggered by the pet plan.
- Points 29–30: Add general damage while reaching the companion capstone.
- Points 31: At point 31, add the raptor and pet-bite splash.
- Points 32–36: Begin the secondary shot branch with critical chance for the hunter.
- Points 37–41: Add ordinary cooldown recovery without spending on unrelated spell-specific bonuses.
- Points 42: Improve Auto Shot's second-target coverage.
- Points 43–46: Support direct-shot critical damage while opening Multi-Shot targets.
- Points 47–48: Expand the spell explicitly triggered by Frenzy.
- Points 49–51: Finish with general damage support.
Skills to look for
Use this priority when the relevant choice is offered. A route does not guarantee a particular card.
- Multi-Shot
Frenzy can trigger free Multi-Shots from pet bites; the late Marksmanship investment expands its targets.
If it is missing: Auto Shot — Keep ordinary shooting useful while waiting for Multi-Shot cards or before Frenzy is allocated.
- Auto Shot
Tame Beast describes the wolf biting what you shoot, and Piercing Shots later improves this attack's coverage.
If it is missing: Aimed Shot — Use an available direct shot without assuming the Kill Shot capstone or its resets.
- Hunter's Mark
Its all-source damage increase on a tough target provides a distinct supporting reason in a companion plan.
If it is missing: Concussive Shot — Use a slow to protect space when the mark is absent.
- Volley
A placed area is an optional way to cover a group while pets keep attacking.
If it is missing: Frost Trap — Use a root around the placement point when space, rather than another damage source, is the limiting factor.
Inside the run
- Before Tame Beast
- Use the actual shot starter with cooldown recovery and movement. Do not describe the first ten-point prefix as an active pet build.
- Frenzy active
- Seek Multi-Shot support while retaining a shot that marks the fight for the wolf. Pet bites provide the chance-based trigger; they do not guarantee a Multi-Shot on every bite.
- Two-pet capstone active
- Use the wolf and raptor coverage while keeping a safe route. For tough enemies, compare a mark or direct-shot upgrade rather than assuming pet splash solves single-target damage.
Change one thing
- Multi-Shot cards are not offered
- Keep the direct shot and available control useful; Frenzy supplies its listed free casts only after the permanent milestone is selected.
- You need room to survive
- Use the allocated movement and an offered slow or root. Pet damage is not an absorb shield for the hunter.
- You prefer an Aimed Shot opener
- Use the arrow-coverage plan instead; combining both 31-point capstones exceeds this budget.
- 31 Beast Mastery and 20 Marksmanship include Frenzy but not Kill Shot, Rapid Fire or Barrage.
- Only Ferocity explicitly names both you and your pets; do not read every owner damage upgrade as a pet modifier.
The point order follows the checked 0.125.0 client requirements. Spell priorities and gameplay suggestions are editorial and have not been combat-tested. A legal allocation does not establish the strongest build or a proven clear rate.

Make Auto Shot, Multi-Shot and Volley cover the incoming group, with Kill Shot supplying the full-plan Aimed Shot opening. Pet-triggered Multi-Shots belong to the separate Beast Mastery plan; Frenzy is not selected in this arrow allocation.
Multi-Shot
Killing blows from these shots create an explosion around the defeated enemy. Adds targets to Multi-Shot.
Explosive Ammunition / Improved Multi-Shot / FrenzyAuto Shot
Each arrow also strikes an enemy beyond its first target. Killing blows from these shots create an explosion around the defeated enemy.
Piercing Shots / Explosive AmmunitionVolley
Increases Volley and Multi-Shot damage.
BarrageAimed Shot
Shortens the cooldowns of Concussive Shot and Aimed Shot. Makes Aimed Shot the opening spell, shortens its cooldown and lets killing blows ready it again, subject to a trigger limit.
Scatter Shot / Kill Shot / Rapid FireHunter's Mark

Use Auto Shot, Multi-Shot and Volley as a connected arrow plan. Check Barrage for the shared Multi-Shot and Volley damage interaction.
Compare piercing and extra-target choices with the shape of the approaching group instead of choosing every new attack offered.
Keep a route around the group. Use the separate pet plan for Frenzy's bite-triggered Multi-Shots; the arrow plan's 20 Beast Mastery points do not reach that milestone.
When the plan stalls.
Choose the row that describes your last attempt.
Your arrows hit the front but leave enemies behind it.
Try this Inspect Auto Shot piercing or additional Multi-Shot targets.
Piercing reaches past a target; more Multi-Shot targets spread the attack. Their value depends on how the group is approaching.
You want pet bites to supply extra Multi-Shots.
Try this Switch to the separate Beast Mastery pet plan and follow its Tame Beast, Frenzy and Bestial Wrath milestones.
Frenzy is not part of the arrow allocation. The pet plan gives up the 31-point Kill Shot opening rather than adding a second 31-point capstone.
Enemies reach you despite reliable hits.
Try this Decide between faster clearing and a recovery or movement effect.
A late kill and a retreat into occupied ground look similar when a run ends. Identify which happened before spending another choice.
Give your gear a purpose.
Compare damage and cooldown effects. Use recovery when enemies are reaching you before the group clears.
A trap to avoid.
Adding traps, ongoing effects and companion upgrades without enough support for the arrows doing most of the clearing.
More targets may help the horde without solving a long boss encounter. Record both parts of the attempt.
