Before you make a lobby

  • Check the version on every participant’s game. If one person has an older client, update before diagnosing a failed join.
  • Choose the hero you intend to use. The checked client uses the hero selected on your picker.
  • Agree on a zone and difficulty that every participant has opened with that hero’s class.
  • For a first attempt, keep the setup simple enough that all players can reproduce it.

The v0.125.0 text says a co-op run needs at least two players. An empty room is not yet a co-op run.

Host and join

  1. Open Co-op from the game and create a lobby using the options shown in your client.
  2. Share the current lobby code with your friends. If the room has a password, share that separately with the intended players.
  3. Guests join and check the hero shown on their picker. If the host recreates the room, use the new code.
  4. Once the group has joined and everyone is eligible, the host enters the chosen zone.

A lobby invitation is a way to find a session. It is not a redeem code and does not grant currency, equipment or account unlocks.

Understand the waiting state

The interface distinguishes waiting for the host from an unavailable co-op service. A guest waiting for entry should first check whether the host has started the run. If the message instead reports a service or relay connection failure, troubleshoot that connection rather than changing talents.

Zone and difficulty access

A zone unlocked with one class is not evidence that the class you brought to the lobby can enter it. Check the picker using that exact hero. The current interface requires both the zone and the selected difficulty to be available.

For Heroic, the client describes a Normal clear with the class as the initial access requirement. Later difficulty progression and the class’s equipment-star limit are related but distinct; inspect the picker instead of assuming another player’s unlock applies to every part of your account.

When joining fails

Message or situationWhat to check
Wrong passwordUse the room password, not the lobby code.
Room was recreatedAsk for the current invitation.
Zone or difficulty unavailableChange to an eligible class or ask the host to select an accessible destination.
Waiting for the hostHave the host confirm the intended zone and enter it.
Service or relay cannot be reachedRecord the exact message, retry later and check the creator’s community.

Report versions, selected heroes, zone and difficulty when asking for help. Do not post a private password in a public bug report.

Sources & scope

Setup requirements were checked in v0.125.0 interface text. We did not run a multiplayer session or benchmark party compositions.

Game client and version recordGameplay reference: original client v0.125.0, rechecked October 29, 2026. Live v0.127.0 was also observed that day; interface descriptions were compared, but talent execution rules and combat balance were not revalidated for the newer build.
